Funding for Superfast

Welsh Government offer two support schemes:

> Access Broadband Cymru vouchers (Access for hard to reach sites) 

> Ultrafast Connectivity Voucher (Upgrading to Ultrafast) 

 

Funding is also available through BT’s Community Fibre Partnership which can help communities find a fibre solution:

Internet Service Providers (ISPs)

Mobile Networks

 

Internet Service Providers (ISPs)

Service delivered through a sim card for devices or a plug-in USB dongle device. Speed and connectivity dependent on the network provider and availability of their mobile signal at the locations you require. Worth checking the availability of mobile signal with provider in the first instance. 

The Ofcom website provides predicted mobile coverage (voice, 3G and 4G) and fixed broadband speed and availability by postcode maps for the main 4 mobile providers, EE, O2, Vodaphone and Three at:

Fixed Wireless Broadband ISPs

Services delivered through mobile networks and over radio frequencies through an aerial and receiver. Usually charges include a one-off fee to install broadcast equipment and a fixed term contract paid by a monthly subscription. More information available at:
